  1. What data you collect; We may collect personal data related to the study of emotions, relationships, and behavior in schools, such as:
  2. How you use, store, and/or share the data; All data will be stored securely on the Institute of Psychology’s protected servers. Access will be limited to approved researchers involved in this project. Access requires a personal login and password, and all access will be logged. Data may also be securely backed up on encrypted storage devices.
  3. Any additional parties you share data with; Personal data will only be shared with members of the research team for analysis purposes. Participants (or their legal guardians) will give informed consent for any sharing within the research team.
  4. How users may opt-out of your use, storage, and/or sharing of the data; Participation is voluntary. Participants may refuse or withdraw from the study at any time without giving a reason and without any negative consequences.
  5. Your data retention policy; The file linking participants’ IDs to personal information will be deleted after the project is completed. Only anonymized data will be kept for 5 years after the end of the project for research purposes.
  6. How a user can delete or request that you delete their data; Participants (or their legal guardians) can request the deletion of their personal data by contacting the research team. For pseudonymized data, we will explain that we cannot identify individuals without the key, but if the participant insists, deletion will be done using the key while it still exists.
  7. What happens to data collected after a user withdraws from the study; Participants can request that we stop processing their personal data by contacting our Data Protection Officer at: DPO@psu.cas.cz.
