  • What comes next? This study is the starting point for building a larger research project that may involve many more universities, schools and participants in the future. The findings will help create better tools for supporting emotional well-being and healthy relationships in education. Participants will take part in surveys, interviews, or other activities arranged through their schools.
  • Risks The likelihood of any harm from participating in this study is extremely low.
  • Benefits Participation in this study may not provide direct personal benefits. However, the results can help teachers, psychologists, and schools improve the ways they support students’ emotional health and positive social relationships.
  • Confidentiality Statement All collected information will be pseudonymized. Only the research team will have access to the key linking data to individual participants. Reports, publications, or presentations will use only pseudonymized data so that no participant can be identified. The data controller is the principal investigator of the OZMENY project. Access to personal data will be limited to the approved research team.
  • Right to ask Any participant can ask whether their personal data is being processed, what categories of data are involved, why they are processed, and with whom they are shared.
  • Voluntary participation Participation is entirely voluntary. There will be no pressure or obligation to take part. All participants (or their legal guardians) will receive information about the study and sign an informed consent form before joining. The study has been reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Ostrava.
